The last couple of weeks have been a whirlwind of crazy around here. I’ve been wanting to write a post on Google Adwords Keyword planner for some time. The video below will dig into how to create a Google AdWords account so you can use the keyword planner. At the end, you’ll also hear how to look for the right keywords for your business and how to use and find the Google AdWords keyword planners.

How To Setup and Use Google Adwords Keyword Planner
Keyword Planner
To use The Keyword planner you need a Google AdWords account. You can use your Gmail account or you can create a business Gmail account. Moreover, we recommend that you use a Gmail business email so that if others join your company they can log in and not use your personal Gmail account login information.
Once you have that setup to Google Adwords done. Then you can log in to Google AdWords and click on the tools and analysis button at the top. Next, look for and click Keyword Planner. At the end of the video, I do a quick run through of how to search and choose the right keyword for your blog posts. Steps To Using Google Adwords Keyword Planner (The steps are also detailed out in the video)
- Setup an account (you’ll need a credit card, billing address, & Gmail account)
- Setup a temporary campaign (you will pause this- Watch until the end of the video to see how).
- Once your account and the temporary campaign is setup then you can start using keyword planner.
- Open your Adwords account. Find the Rench Click on it. Find the phrase Keyword planner and click on it.
- Follow the instructions in the video for best practices on how to choose your keyword string.
