Analytics and Tracking

Know what is working. Stop making marketing decisions in the dark.

We help established organizations on Vancouver Island and across Canada connect GA4, Tag Manager, Search Console, advertising data, and lead actions to a reporting view their team can use.

Built for medium-sized businesses, organizations, and nonprofits that need reliable data before making the next marketing decision.

Analytics and tracking fit

Start with the signals that are missing, duplicated, or not connected to a decision.

A dashboard cannot solve broken measurement. We first clarify the business goal, then repair the path from site action to report so your data can support a useful choice.

This is for you if…

  • You do not fully trust the numbers in GA4.
  • You cannot see which channels are producing real enquiries.
  • Forms, calls, or bookings are not connected to a meaningful event.
  • You are making budget decisions from incomplete reports.

What you get

  • GA4, Tag Manager, and Search Console review.
  • Conversion, form, and click-to-call measurement plan.
  • Google Ads conversion and attribution checks where relevant.
  • Shared Looker Studio view and validation plan.

Common problems we fix

  • Key GA4 events that never fire or fire twice.
  • Google Ads counting page views instead of leads.
  • Missing form, call, or booking measurement.
  • Reports that show traffic without explaining outcomes.

How the work operates

A practical rhythm for making marketing data useful.

We map the decision, repair the measurement, validate the signal, and keep the reporting focused on what the team needs to do next.

01 · MAP

Define the decision and the signal.

Connect each business goal to the site action, event, conversion, and lead signal that can prove progress.

02 · BUILD

Repair the measurement foundation.

Audit and configure GA4, Tag Manager, Search Console, conversion actions, consent, and reporting paths.

03 · VALIDATE

Test it, then use it.

Run real form, call, and click tests before using the data in reporting and optimization decisions.

Shared reporting rhythm

See traffic, leads, and source data together. Meet every three weeks. Decide what changes next.

Your shared Looker Studio view connects the performance signals that matter. Every three weeks, we review what is working, what is not, and what should be kept, changed, or stopped.

Questions, answered clearly

What organizations usually ask before starting.

Do you use Google Tag Manager?

Yes. Tag Manager is the preferred deployment layer for the measurement we manage because it gives the team a cleaner way to configure and review events without repeatedly editing website code. We still audit the site first so existing hard-coded tags do not create duplicate measurement.

What does a useful tracking setup include?

The right setup depends on the business goal. It commonly includes GA4, Google Tag Manager, Search Console, agreed form, call, booking, or purchase events, Google Ads conversions where applicable, consent handling, and a reporting view that connects activity to leads.

Can you fix tracking on a website you did not build?

Usually, yes. We review the platform, existing tags, form flow, and available access before recommending the safest path. The same measurement principles apply across WordPress, Webflow, Wix, Shopify, and custom websites.

How do you know an event is truly working?

We validate it with a controlled test, not only a dashboard screenshot. That means confirming the site action, the GTM trigger, the GA4 event, and the conversion path where relevant. Read more about our Google Ads approach.

Will a dashboard tell us exactly which marketing action caused every lead?

Not perfectly. Attribution has limits, especially when buyers visit more than once or talk to someone before enquiring. We make the data clearer and explain those limits so the team can make better decisions without pretending the report is more certain than it is. See Google’s GA4 attribution overview.
